As the collectors approached the Holiday Inn Ft. Rapids they were a bit taken back by the landscaping, the building design and the fort look. The hotel lent itself to having fun what with all the amenities of a resort plus a water park for the children.

Dealers put the final touches on their display tables and the doors opened to the area collectors. They are always impressed with the quality, the creativity and the workmanship each artist puts into their bears.

Good Bears of the World's Beary Goof Friends Den conducted their yearly silent auction. Bears lined six tables and collectors bid!

Throughout the day door prizes were announced and happy collectors received wonderful surprises from the artists.

The artists love attending the shows, meeting the collectors and getting to know them better and the same feeling the collectors have; getting to know the artists who created the unique bears for them to love.

What vision the artist have when they run their hands over a flat piece of mohair and visualize it in a 3-D teddy bear.

Artists often come to town early so they can scour antique malls for costumes, accessories to add to their designs which adds to their story line about their bears.

We hope you enjoyed the show and will join us next year when we celebrate the 20th Annual show!
